Discover Manolo

Manolo is a hidden gem located at Av. José Larco 608, in the heart of Miraflores, Peru. If you're in the area and craving a comforting meal in a cozy setting, this place should definitely be on your radar. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels inviting, with a casual vibe that makes it perfect for both a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends and family.

The menu at Manolo is diverse, offering something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a delicious dinner, you'll find plenty of options that hit the mark. One of the standout features of their menu is the variety of traditional Peruvian dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Many of these dishes showcase the rich flavors of the region, but with a twist that sets them apart from the usual offerings you'll find around town.

A personal favorite of many regulars is the ceviche. The fresh fish is perfectly marinated in tangy citrus, and the seasoning is just right-neither too mild nor overpowering. It’s a must-try for anyone looking to experience a true taste of Peru. If you're not in the mood for seafood, the grilled meats are a fantastic alternative. The lomo saltado is especially popular, with tender pieces of beef sautéed with onions, tomatoes, and a savory blend of spices, served with a side of crispy fries and rice.

The drink menu at Manolo is equally impressive. You’ll find an excellent selection of cocktails, both classic and signature, that pair wonderfully with any dish you choose. Their pisco sour is a local favorite, served with just the right balance of tang and sweetness. If you prefer something lighter, their freshly squeezed juices and smoothies are refreshing and full of flavor, perfect for cooling down during a warm Peruvian day.

Service at Manolo stands out as one of the reasons why patrons keep returning. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure that every guest feels at home. The owners, who are actively involved in the day-to-day operations, have created a place where the staff’s passion for great food and service truly shines through. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, the warm welcome and personalized attention make dining here a pleasant experience.

Another reason why Manolo continues to draw in visitors is its ideal location in Miraflores. This neighborhood is known for its vibrant culture, beautiful parks, and proximity to the beach, making it a top destination for tourists and locals alike. After enjoying a satisfying meal, you can easily take a stroll through the bustling streets or head down to the water to enjoy the sunset.

The restaurant has earned a strong reputation over time, with many positive reviews from diners who praise its combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and laid-back atmosphere. It’s no wonder that Manolo continues to be a favorite among both locals and visitors to Miraflores. The consistency in quality, along with the friendly ambiance, has built a loyal customer base that keeps coming back for more.

Whether you’re in the mood for traditional Peruvian flavors or craving something with a bit of a modern twist, Manolo is the place to be. It’s a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed setting, with great food and a team that genuinely cares about providing a memorable dining experience. The combination of fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes, and an inviting environment makes this restaurant a must-visit in Miraflores.

  • Spanish place, like you find them everywhere. Good churros (other commentators were unlucky, today's were great), as well as the hot chocolate. I had a Pepito Manolo, too, again very Spanish with very good meat. Of course, this is the Soanish version of "pub food", don't expect any fantasy dishes, but it certainly right like the places I knew from Spain. Display of pinchos, I half expected a Jamón being exposed and cut on the till. Service very quick and attentive, a bit rough, not trying to be your friend, but always there. Nice place!

  • We, a family of 4, were in Peru for a week. On our first day in Lima, we were walking around the Kennedy parque area. We were a bit confused on where to have a quick dinner. Then we came across Manolo. It was very crowded, however the vibe was inviting. There was someone at the restaurant actively inviting people despite the fact that it was full. He promised to get us seated asap. And we did get seated inside within 10 minutes. Good variety with their menu - there is something for everyone. Food was served quickly. Since we couldn't read Spanish, they immediately gave an English menu. Churros and pastries are their specialty. Even though we did not get it, we could see everyone was getting one of their Churros as dessert! We liked it very much such that on our last day in Peru, we stopped there again for dinner. At that time, we were seated up front by the street side. It was a different good experience. The servers on both occasions were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

  • A churros shop that fries them perfectly crisp. Besides churros, they have many other items on the menu, but I’ve only tried the churros and the churros with ice cream. 20260101_23.9 Sol

  • Not a big fan of churros, but the Manjar Blanco ones were good. The milkshake was great, and the service was really fast. The prices are a bit too high for what you get, but it’s a nice place overall.

  • I don't understand all the 1 star reviews. they are from people who are not very intelligent. first off, the churros were warm, fresh, and delicious. as far as the prices go, yes they're a little pricey. but you're in one of the best areas in Miraflores. we saw the menu prices. nothing was hidden. it was up to us to say yes or no on the prices. WE SAID YES!! and to the little crybabies that complained about the high prices - AND YOU CHOSE TO ORDER ANYWAY - you're the problem. not the restaurant. I've been coming to Lima for 10 years, and will come back to Manolo every time. 100% worth the price.

  • Hi there, The perfect breakfast stop in Miraflores! Freshly made churros with thick hot chocolate are simply irresistible — crispy, golden, and pure comfort. Their omelets, sandwiches, and Peruvian coffee make mornings here unforgettable. Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and great people-watching right on the boulevard. A true Lima classic that never disappoints! Cheers
